EICACS participated at IJCAI 2025

In August 2025, Thibault Lahire from Dassault Aviation—part of the EICACS consortium—presented a compelling paper at IJCAI 2025 in Montreal titled “Rule-Based Coordination Strategies for Protection in Multi-Agent Defense Scenarios.”

The paper explored how predefined rule frameworks can optimize coordination among multiple defense agents, enhancing protective operations. This work is highly relevant to EICACS’s mission to integrate intelligent AI systems into air combat operations, advancing secure, autonomous, and interoperable European defense capabilities.

By bridging AI theory and defense application, Lahire’s presentation provides a promising avenue for enhancing mission effectiveness across connected platforms.

We look forward to integrating insights from this research into our ongoing efforts to define interoperable air combat standards and systems.
